Adventure and culture... in Basilicata

1st DAY: quad excursion and "the angel flight... a dip between sky and earth".

• Breakfast.
• Departure from Martina Franca at 6:30 am and arrival in Grassano at 9:00 am; quad tour in the beautiful scenery of the Lucanian Dolomites.
• Riding quads, you reach Pietrapertosa a medieval village recognised by the “borghi più belli d’Italia club”. Here you take part to a unique experience “the angel flight”: a steel cable suspended between the tops of two small towns, Castelmezzano and Pietrapertosa let you make a dip between sky and earth.
• Lunch in a typical restaurant in Castelmezzano.
• Return to Grassano and visit to the Cinti di Grassano caves, the monumental crib of the maestro Franco Artese and the noble palace.
• In the late afternoon we reach a farm for dinner and stay.

2nd DAY: from a wildlife oasis to the stones of Matera Breakfast.

• Departure from the farm at 8:00 am.
• Visit to the dam and WWF wildlife oasis of San Giuliano.
• Visit to the “Sassi di Matera”, UNESCO site since 1993 and European Capital of Culture 2019.
• Tasting of Basilicata typical dishes.
• Return to Puglia.
